Scoop News : rate the best and the worst, and also the greatest matchups a head of each week of the fantasy football season 2022 NFL

The week's Best QuarterBacks matchup

Jared Goff Detroit Lions QuarterBack
Jared Goff Detroit Lions QuarterBack

1. Jared Goff

With 17 passing touchdowns at home, Goff leads the league. In 7 home games, he has averaged 20.6 fantasy points. In Week 14, Goff should  be ranked among the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks.

The week's Worst QuarterBacks matchup

tom brady Tampa Bay Buccaneers QuarterBack
tom brady Tampa Bay Buccaneers QuarterBack

2. tom brady

The 49ers just let two opposing quarterbacks who finished in the top 12 this year to achieve this. Brady has only managed to produce 18 fantasy points in his last seven games. The 49ers pass rush will destroy the failing Buccaneers offensive line, and we all know Tom Brady is not himself when a defense can apply pressure. The 49ers limited Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, and Andy Dalton to a combined total of just 14 fantasy points over the last three weeks. They'll likely treat Brady the same way, in my opinion.

The week's Best Running Backs matchup

Tony Pollard Dallas Cowboys Running Backs
Tony Pollard Dallas Cowboys Running Backs

3. Tony Pollard

The Cowboys are starting to see the light and are giving Pollard more work even when Elliott is healthy. Since that both Pollard and Zeke have had 14+ touches in each of the last three games, any RB who receives that many touches against the Texans will have a strong fantasy week. Pollard has the more upside of the two players, as evidenced by the fact that in four of his previous five games, he scored and over 20 fantasy points (including two games with 30+ points). However, Elliott has a good chance of going over goal area before in this game. Both might be among the top 10 fantasy RBs in Week 14.

The week's Worst Running Backs matchup

Leonard Fournette Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rnunning Back

4. Leonard Fournette

We must stop starting running backs against the 49ers because it won't work out. They have a league-low average of 3.2 yards for running backs, which is fewer than any other team is allowing in terms of average yards per carry. The Buccaneers are only marginally better than the Rams this year in terms of their running offense. Following his injury recovery, Fournette and White split the workload in the backfield. These two will definitely see their share of targets, but the 49ers are also allowing running backs to gain the second-fewest yards per reception this season.

The week's Best Wide Receivers matchup

DJ Chark Detroit Lions Wide Receiver
DJ Chark Detroit Lions Wide Receiver

5. DJ Chark

You already know that St. Brown is now a weekly must-start. BUT!... Chark is a very solid choice for a one-week substitute with six teams on bye. In Week 13, Chark played in a season-high 64 offensive snaps and recorded 98 receiving yards from five grabs. The Vikings have given up the second-most fantasy points and the most receiving yards to wide receivers in 2022. The Vikings have given up almost 200 more yards this season to broad WRs than any other team, based to Next Gen Stats, and Chark almost always lines up wide. My favorite "sleeper" play of the week is Chark.

The week's Worst Wide Receivers matchup

Gabe Davis Buffalo Bills Wide Receiver
Gabe Davis Buffalo Bills Wide Receiver

6. Gabe Davis

The Jets haven't given up as few fantasy points per game to wide receivers since Week 4. Just two wide receivers with more than 60 receiving yards in a game have been permitted by the Jets during their previous six games. both of the wide receivers (Stefon Diggs & Jerry Jeudy) need ten or more targets to reach 90 yards. This season, Davis has had a few notable fantasy outings, but he's also had six contests with fewer than 10 points. Against the Jets in Week 9, Davis only managed 5.3 fantasy points. This week, if you can change your starting lineups to a different choice, I would.

The week's best Tight Ends matchup

Hunter Henry New England Patriots Tight End
Hunter Henry New England Patriots Tight End

7. Hunter Henry

You'll have a hard time finding a tight end to start this week that you feel confidence in if you don't have Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, or T.J. Hockenson. For the TEs available on waivers as of Week 14, Henry has the greatest potential. This season, by a wide measure, the Cardinals have given up the most fantasy points to tight ends. Henry has seen five targets in each of the previous two games, so if he gets five targets in this game against the weak Cardinals defense, he should be able to score at least 10 fantasy points.

The week's worstTight Ends matchup

Tyler Conklin New York Jets Tight End
Tyler Conklin New York Jets Tight End

8. Tyler Conklin

In 2022, the Bills are going to give up only 9.4 fantasy points per game to tight ends. They haven't given up a TE score all season, and they've only given it up and over 50 receiving yards to one TE (Travis Kelce, surprise). Conklin just managed one reception for seven yards in Week 9 against the Bills. This week, Conklin is not a suggested streaming choice.
